"If you ask me where I'm from - the simple answer would be, "I'm from the south!" I was born in the Peach State, but raised in San Diego by a strong southern mama. In college I studied Media Communications and was fortunate to work as a Radio Dj, which was whole-heartedly the most fun I’ve ever had! I got to work with local news stations and our NFL team (San Diego Chargers forever!) and I know without a doubt Journalism, voice or paper, is what I was meant to do! In 2016 I moved to Orlando for the Disney College program and found out I was pregnant with our surprise baby girl shortly after graduation! Now I stay home with my sweet Delilah Kate and our black lab Cali. My hubby (as of March 2019!) and I love everything Central Florida has to offer. If there is a spring or historical site within driving distance - we are going to find it! This hobby started as a way to spend quality time together on a tight budget. As a single income, first-responder family money is tight, and that is what I love to write about! I want to love on other mamas and show that there are lots of wonderful things to be done in the City Beautiful on any budget!"
