I love Florida blueberry season! It runs from April til June.
Before you head out to the farm, weave in learning opportunities into the adventure. Read “Blueberries For Sal” or “The Blueberry Elf” to bring your trip to life! Get into the kitchen when you return home and mix up some delicious muffins, pancakes, and cobbler. Your children will learn to appreciate farm to table food, learn hands-on math skills, soaking up a little bit of science and a whole lot of awesome memories of being together!

Local You-Pick Blueberry Farms
Here is just a few of the local farms in Orange and Lake County. To look up other locations in your area, go to You-Pick Farm Directory.
ALWAYS CALL or check the farm’s website for exact open times and dates before planning your trip. They are usually family owned farms and have specific picking times. Also, changes in the weather and crop status can alter their business schedule.
