October 7 – Race 2 Cure 5K, Oviedo Mall – 1700 Oviedo Mall Blvd. Oviedo, 7 – 10AM, The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) Race 2 Cure presented by FFVA Mutual and FBCF Tribute Walk are held to raise funds for cancer research. This event is organized by the Orlando Sports Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing teams together to find a cure for cancer. 

October 14 – 5K Zombie Fun Run!, City of Eustis Parks & Recreation at Palmetto Point Park, 1651 Hicks Ditch Rd, Eustis, 8AM, Join us on Saturday October 14th, 2023 at Palmetto Point Park for this chip timed 5K run! All participants will receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, chip timing & more! Awards will be given to the top overall Male & Female 18U & 18 & Over! An award will also be given to the best costume!

October 14 – DeLand 0.5K Micro-Marathon Pub Crawl, Downtown DeLand, 2 – 6PM, Pre sale tickets $40.

October 28 – Pumpkin Dash 5K, Sun ‘n Fun Expo Campus, 4075 James C Ray Dr., Lakeland, 7 – 11AM, Halloween themed 5K across the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus Costumes encouraged Post-Race Dance Party with food & drink available from food trucks after the race at the finish line Prizes given to top 3 finishers in each age group division T-Shirt and swag for each runner Race highlights – finishing time, photos from the race, and video of runner crossing finish line Registration is $35 per person (plus taxes and fees) 5K Parking and Packet pick-up – Enter Main General Parking Lot from W Pipkin Rd.

October 28 – NextStep Orlando Walk-n-Roll-a-Thon, 274 Cranes Roost Blvd., Altamonte Springs, 9AM – 12PM, Join this uplifting event to walk for those trying to recover from spinal cord injuries! The 14th annual Walk-n-Roll-a-Thon red carpet event showcases NextStep clients’ hard work by having them “walk” down a red carpet. This is a real tear-jerker for those who have never witnessed the amazing progress that these individuals have achieved. Proceeds benefit the NextStep Orlando Scholarship Fund, which provides those with financial burdens the opportunity to attend the program which focuses on using intense exercise-based techniques to regain function and contributes to improved independence and quality of life. Registration starts at 9:15 a.m. A minimum $10 pledge is required.

October 28 – Monster Dash 5k, Longwood Historic District, 7 – 10AM, Be a part of our sixth annual race through the historic district of Longwood on Saturday, October 28, 2023. All of the proceeds will go to benefit historic preservation in Longwood via the Longwood Historic Society. The society maintains three buildings within the district built in the 1870s and 1880s. We need your help to raise money for the continued restoration and preservation necessary to keep them around for another generation! The race will begin and end at the Historic Civic Center in downtown Longwood’s historic district. It will be fun, family-friendly, and Halloween-themed. We invite runners to wear costumes and will award prizes for the best costumes. There will be a free kids’ dash immediately before the 5K. We will play plenty of family-appropriate music, including Halloween favorites to get you into the spirit.

October 29 – Monster Dash 5K, Oviedo Mall, Embrace the Halloween season with the inaugural Monster Dash 5K, a family-friendly event that encourages participants to sport their spookiest costumes while enjoying a spirited run. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or simply want to have a fang-tastic time, this event welcomes all levels of runners. And for the first 100 participants, registration is an incredible $15. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to enjoy a morning of frightening fitness fun!

Thanksgiving Day – Turkey Trot 5K, Oviedo Mall, a fantastic way to start your holiday with a healthy dash.
