I live in Florida with my husband, two amazing daughters and our two dogs.
I have always been the type to have fun with home and diy projects. (my hubby just loves when I come up with a new project idea). sassafrass Designs was born after I made shirts for my oldest daughters horse show in 2019. The shirts were so fun to make and a new addiction was quickly realized for me.

How did I choose my business name?
My late Grandpa had nicknames for all his family members. I was Silly Sal and Sassafrass. I have always loved Sassafrass and to honor him, I figured it was only natural to make it a part of my business name.

Ariel hand blends every scent for both their soaps and their candles using the knowledge she has acquired over the years as a Certified Sommelier (Professional Wine Nerd). At The Vegan Soap Bar, we guarantee that our ingredients are carefully selected to provide all-natural, plant based soaps. Every bar is created and handcrafted with the intention of bringing a high-quality soap bar to our customers.
Our soaps do not contain surfactants or mono propylene glycol, no parabens, no phenoxyethanol, and no sulfates, is PEG (polyethylene glycol) free, and is Coconut free.
