I’ll admit, I’m not a very good foodie. I tend to just grab my go-to products from my local grocery store and call it a day. Got some ground beef? Check. Steak? Yup. Some chicken wings for the game on Sunday? Got it! Meat shopping for the week is complete. Again, being completely honest here, I’ve never put much thought into the meat I buy.

So, when I received a sampling of Meat District offerings, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Would I really taste any difference in this meat versus the generic stuff I would normally buy?

What’s Meat District?

Meat District is a company that produces high-quality meats, from burgers to steak and party wings. It chooses the best cuts, seasons them to perfection (in my opinion), and offers a variety of options that’ll wow your family at dinner time. While you can purchase their Ultimate Grilling Package (more on that below), you can also find Meat District locally at Winn-Dixie!

When I arrived home one day, I saw a large package at my front door. I couldn’t remember ordering anything from Amazon, but when I got closer, I saw the unfamiliar brand of Meat District printed on the box. Right! I had a meat delivery coming! Dinner was already in place! My experience with Meat District was already off to a great start.

When I opened up the box and dug into the insulated bag, my meat offerings were stacked and kept cold with a ton of freezer packs!

So. Many. Options.

My family and I were lucky enough to get to try out Meat District’s burgers and some of their Ultimate Grilling Pack.

These delicious options were the perfect complement to our Sunday Football Game Day!

What My Family Said About Meat District

My husband is a steak lover. He prefers his own steak and steak at fancy restaurants. That’s. It. So when we were sent the Premium Angus Beef Tri-Tip, the steaks (heh heh) were high.

What did my husband have to say after taking a few bites of the Angus Beef Tri-Tip?

This is stunning.   -My husband

I promise you, I am word-for-word quoting my husband here. I’m not kidding you, I almost fell out of my chair. He has high standards when it comes to meat, and he gave this cut of beef probably the highest compliment I’ve heard him give meat in quite some time.

I asked my son how he felt about the tri-tip as well. What did he say?

no words. just a thumbs up.

-my six-year-old son

My little guy absolutely loved the steak too. He was obviously way too busy chewing, so he only gave me a thumbs up, but I think that’s a seal of approval for a 1st grader.

Burgers on the Grill

We also had a fun family outdoor dinner one weekend, and decided to grill up some of the Meat District burgers.

What did my 17-year-old stepson have to say about these burgers?

they’re pretty good. -my teenage stepson

If any of you have a teenage son or stepson, you know that that is a high compliment.

What do I have to say about Meat District?

Meat that’s high-quality, easy to cook, and the whole family loves it? This is perfection. – me.

Would I Have Meat District Again?

So, in the end, after having a few different taste testings of different Meat District offerings, what was our final verdict? Would we be open to having Meat District again?

YES. It was seriously high-quality meat that was seasoned to perfection and had excellent taste. All three of my boys loved Meat District and we were satisfied with the burger and other beef offerings!

(My husband is still in love with the Premium Angus Beef Tri-Tip. He has offered his advice to the OMC audience of: use a digital in-oven meat thermometer; it makes all the difference.)

Interested in trying out Meat District? You can order their Ultimate Grilling Pack, which includes some of the offerings you’ve seen here in this post! Enjoy 6 Beef Patties, Premium Angus Beef Tri-Tip (that’s the Husband Fav), Chicken Party Wings, Chicken Drumsticks, Chicken Thighs and Pork Tenderloin (super delicious too!).
