The holiday season is in full swing and ICON Park is Orlando’s home for the holidays. Located in the heart of the Orlando Entertainment District, ICON Park and its tenants are spreading holiday cheer with a variety of seasonal experiences and specials throughout the month.

The Santa Workshop Experience

The Santa Workshop Experience is back for another year of spreading holiday cheer! Families will be able to partake in the classic tradition of taking beautiful holiday photos and kids will be able to meet the jolly old elf himself.

After you’ve gotten the perfect picture, children can take a free ride on The Wheel in a private capsule that has been decorated for the season and play their favorite holiday tunes on the capsule’s Bluetooth system. Each child who participates in The Santa Workshop Experience will receive a free ride on the Carousel on The Promenade. They’ll also be provided a complimentary ride on The Wheel in a holiday-decorated capsule and access to the VIP no-wait line. Guests accompanying the child can get 50 percent off their ticket tickets to The Wheel. The experience is available now through Dec. 24. Click here to book your session today.

ICON Park is also getting guests in the holiday spirit by bringing back the 50-foot Christmas tree, sponsored by the I-Drive Business Improvement District. The tree, decorated from top to bottom, will be visible to everyone strolling along the famous International Drive. A lighting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. on Dec. 1 and will feature live music, entertainment and performances, as well as speeches from local officials to signal the official start of the Christmas season.

Holiday light show on The Wheel

The Wheel at ICON Park is getting into the holiday spirit with a new light show. Gather on The Lawn and watch as The Wheel’s 64,000 LED lights dance to a seasonal soundtrack during a 10-minute production. Starting Dec. 15, the show will run:

•Monday – Thursday at 8 p.m.

•Friday – Sunday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

While on The Lawn, be sure to get a photo with the I-Drive District’s beautiful, 50-foot holiday tree!

Museum of Illusions Orlando

Museum of Illusions will put a twist on the classic holiday tradition of “Elf on the Shelf” and host “Elves Off the Shelf Fridays.” For the price of regular admission, guests will be able to explore the museum’s exhibits and take photos with elves on select dates and times this December. Elves off the Shelf Fridays will take place: Dec. 9 from 3 to 5 p.m., Dec. 16 from 5 to 7 p.m., Dec. 23 from 3 to 5 p.m. To learn more about Museum of Illusions Orlando or to book tickets, click here.

SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium

The Deck the Seas event is back at SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium now through Jan. 1. All month long, guests can participate in a seasonal scavenger hunt for cold-water sea creatures throughout the aquarium. On Wednesdays at 1 p.m., guests can gather around to listen to the story of Fishmas with Scuba Claus and his elf. Don’t forget to stop by on the weekend to meet Sharky in his holiday gear! Charles Dickens Carolers

Orlando’s favorite holiday singers will be spreading Christmas cheer at ICON Park all season long. The Charles Dickens Carolers will be dressed in their Christmas best and singing classic carols on select nights throughout December. Come enjoy this beloved tradition on Dec. 9, 14, 16, 21, 23 and 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

“Toys for Tots” toy drive

The entertainment destination has joined forces with the U.S. Marine Corps to support the 75th anniversary of the world-famous “Toys for Tots” campaign. Now through Dec. 19, there will be donation boxes located throughout ICON Park to collect toys for children in need.

Each guest who donates to the toy drive can receive 50 percent off tickets to The Wheel. ICON Park’s goal is to fill an entire capsule of The Wheel with toys for little boys and girls who deserve a special gift this year.
