Publisher, editor-in-chief, doula and mom of three, Kristi is one busy momma! After eight years of working as a doula with new and expectant mommas, Kristi launched The Moms Magazine for the moms in Central Florida. The addition of Orlando Moms Blog three years later was a no-brainer as there was a HUGE need for a local blog.

Thrilled with the decision to refresh our look, Orlando Moms Blog became Orlando Mom Collective in 2019. Kristi has had the privilege to mentor hundreds of bloggers, influencers, writers and graphic designers in this journey!

Kristi’s connection with the moms of Orlando goes deep. One chat with Kristi and you’ll think of her as your new best friend.

“If you ask me where I’m from – the simple answer would be, “I’m from the south!” I was born in the Peach State, but raised in San Diego by a strong southern mama. In college I studied Media Communications and was fortunate to work as a Radio Dj, which was wholeheartedly the most fun I’ve ever had! I got to work with local news stations and our NFL team (San Diego Chargers forever!) and I know without a doubt Journalism, voice or paper, is what I was meant to do! In 2016 I moved to Orlando for the Disney College program and found out I was pregnant with our surprise baby girl shortly after graduation! Now I stay home with my sweet Delilah Kate and our black lab Cali. My hubby (as of March 2019!) and I love everything Central Florida has to offer. If there is a spring or historical site within driving distance – we are going to find it! This hobby started as a way to spend quality time together on a tight budget. As a single income, first-responder family money is tight, and that is what I love to write about! I want to love on other mamas and show that there are lots of wonderful things to be done in the City Beautiful on any budget!” Say HELLO over on my Instagram page & Facebook page!

Candace is a native Central Floridian. With no sense of direction, driving anywhere too far out of Winter Springs (where she currently lives) sends her head into a whirl. Her favorite date would probably be takeout from Five Guys and a game of scrabble with her high school sweetheart-turned-husband, Nick. Don’t tell him that though, he likes to spoil her with much fancier things. She spends her days in some weird state between blissfully grateful and absolutely overwhelmed as a mother to three of the cutest Colombianos (Sienna, Titus, Adella). Teenage motherhood launched Candace into a passionate believer in faith, grace, and sucking it up and puttin’ on your big-girl panties. You can count on Candace for a good laugh, a great party, and any decorating tips you may need. She enjoys making all things pretty… except of course, life. That ain’t so pretty and she prefers to share a “me too” rather than just the highlight reel. Follow Candace on Instagram and Facebook!

Hey there, I’m Jasmin! Wife and mom of three. I am a small owner and encourager of women and their dreams! Motherhood can be so overwhelming and lonely. I truly believe we were meant to do it in community. To remind each other that we aren’t alone, we are supported and we all are doing the best we can. So welcome to the OMC community. And if you are looking for love and encouragement, I’m your girl! Follow me on Instagram and Facebook!

Hey friends! I’m Steph-mama of 3 (soon to be 4) who’s days are fueled by the chaos that is raising boys! I’m a Florida girl, born and raised who has a passion for celebrating life! Most often, you’ll find me with my fam jam making memories at Disney World and sharing travel tips, DIY’s, and lifestyle topics over on my blog- TheHappeningHousewife.com! I truly love stepping out into the community to spend real face time with other local moms (like you!) and embracing those around me with a hug and a smile! My social journey started almost a decade ago and through this wild cyber world, I’ve learned that no matter how different our families and parenting styles may be, or how near or far apart we are, there are at least one or two things that we, as mamas, are bound to have in common! While some days being a mom and a wife can feel overwhelming, especially when Linda the laundry pile is 6 feet high and you’re stepping on grapes and crackers every other move, we all have those high moments that remind us how amazing life is with littles! One thing you should know about me: I’m totally guilty of buying random things we don’t need because it’s on sale but, Im doing better and hopefully won’t have to check in to a Shoppers’ Anonymous program anytime in the near future.

Hi, I’m Sylvia! I am a married mama of (almost) 10 years to three littles. (Just writing that was exhausting!) When I’m not Mrs-mama, I am also a birth doula standing alongside women in pregnancy to stand in the gap where standard prenatal care and empowered-birth advocacy meet. My passion is to connect with other women to encounter strength in community. I’m a firm believe that we thrive and live our best life when we allow others to see us at our picture-perfect best and especially at our worst. Be kind but also be bold enough to raise another mama up with truth in love! Follow me on Instagram and Facebook!

A Florida native, Chenoa is originally from Miami but has been living in Maitland for 22 years with a short 2-year break where she lived in (and fell in love with) Raleigh, NC. She’s part “adopted Southern charm” with a streak of feisty Miami girl! She’s Mom to two strong-willed, preemie babies, a 25 weeker and a 35 weeker, who now are thriving big kids (6yr old girl and 3yr old boy). They have led to a hot mess parenting style that’s fueled by coffee to get through the day and wine to try and soothe the nerves at night. She’s married to her college sweetheart who she met at the University of Central Florida (GO KNIGHTS) while studying English-Creative Writing and the fine art of Greek life. She’s a DIY junkie who loves Fixer Upper (of course), loves reading, cooking and writing. When out and about with her husband, sans kids, she loves eating at new local places around Winter Park, enjoying coffee from a favorite local coffee shop or enjoying a date night at Eden Bar in Maitland. Her adventures through motherhood have included recently transitioning from full-time working Mom to stay-at-home Mom, raising a sassy, hilarious little girl and helping her silly little guy navigate some developmental delays that have challenged her to slow down and let him guide her way. She hasn’t lost hope that she can control all the things that parenting brings and her kids haven’t given up trying to prove her wrong. Her husband is the Helicopter Parent to her Free Range which is the perfect topping to the chaos of everyday life! She frequents social media and uses her Instagram to document the fleeting moments of “put-togetherness” that occasionally happen by accident…sometimes.

Coppelia just moved from Houston, TX to Orlando this year (2019), but she grew up on the “island of enchantment,” Puerto Rico! She left the island in her 20s and moved to Sacramento, California. That’s where she and her puerto rican prince charming Adam had their two babies, their son Chris {2006} and daughter Ally {2009}.
You may have heard Coppelia on the air! She majored in communications and has worked in radio since her college days. You can hear her locally on “Z88.3 Afternoons with Shadow & Coppelia” and in Spanish on “La Z 102.5!”
She’s also passionate about worship and she loves singing and speaking at women’s conferences. She wrote her first book “Whole: How One Book Can Transform Your Whole Life” and blogs about family, faith and fun at coppeliamarie.com
Did we mention she’s a SUPER Disney fan and Annual Passholder? She and her sister Emille, who also calls Orlando home, hit the parks as often as possible! Special Disney memories include her honeymoon in 2004 (Wilderness Lodge!) and her first half marathon at Run Disney’s WDW Marathon Weekend in 2015!
You can follow her on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @Coppeliamarie.

A Florida native copywriter and homeschooling mom of two with big dreams of doing simple things with great love. Graduated from UCF with a degree in English Literature, which gave her strong opinions on Jack Kerouac and where to get the best tacos at midnight. Either drinking coffee or a margarita right now. Spends her days learning, creating, exploring, and trying to convince everyone knitting is cool. Often has hands covered in bread flour. Fears living through another low-rise jeans trend.
