I cannot believe we are about to celebrate New Years Eve and enter into 2023! The last couple years have been hard but I am always excited to see what the new year will bring our family. This year, we got to fulfill a huge dream when we sold our home in Michigan and moved to Florida. I also joined the Orlando Mom Collective team in 2022 and that has been a huge blessing for my personal transition to a new state. Next year, I look forward to moving into our dream home and exploring our new state.
My New Years Eve celebrations look differently than they did a decade ago. Gone are the late nights with college friends, staying up way past midnight and eating junk food. Truthfully, I don’t know the last time I was able to stay up until midnight to usher in a new year. I am now content to sit on the couch in comfy pants, fall asleep at 10pm (or earlier) and wake up in the morning to the new year.
However, if you are looking to dress up, celebrate and go somewhere fun to be this New Years Eve, look no farther than this list! I have found Noon Years Eve events, where you celebrate at noon instead of midnight (because who doesn’t love going to bed at a reasonable time but still enjoying the holiday) as well as events that will take you far into the night.

December 30 – New Year’s Eve Celebration, Publix Aprons Cooking School at The Marketplace at Dr. Phillips, 7524 Dr Phillips Blvd Orlando, 6:30 – 8:30PM, Join us tonight to welcome in the New Year with great chef-inspired dishes paired with the right wines. Time to kick back, raise a glass, and celebrate the coming of a new year!
December 30 – SGI Winter Gala 2022, Sheraton Hotel North Orlando, 600 N Lake Destiny Rd, Maitland, 7PM – 12AM, The annual Winter Gala is the perfect event for any adult who wants to wine, dine, dance and have a great time with other fun adults!

December 29 – Happy Noon Year, Meeting Room, North Orange Branch Library, 1211 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka, 11AM – 12PM, Make some noise and ring in the noon year with your little ones! Join us for fun and games with an exciting countdown at noon. Recommended for preschoolers.
December 31 – Jazzberry Jammin’ Noon Year’s Eve at Crayola Experience, 8001 S Orange Blossom Trl, Orlando, Head to Crayola Experience in the Florida Mall for an artsy afternoon party. In addition to Crayola Experience’s year-round craft stations, guests will be able to make their own NYE crowns and resolution lists. A DJ will spin family-friendly tunes from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m., and there will be New Year’s countdowns at 1 and 3. All the noon year’s fun is included with your Crayola Experience ticket. Thanks to Jazzberry Jammin’ Noon Year’s Eve, kids can ring in 2023 without staying up past their bedtime.

Celebrate 2023 at the stroke of noon! Party at the library with special stories, activities, a craft and lots of dancing. Then have your confetti ready for the bid countdown! Kids are welcome to wear pajamas. Activities geared toward ages 3-8, but all children and families are welcome!
December 31 – Noon Year’s Eve, Northwest Branch Library, 580 Green Way Blvd, Lake Mary, 11AM – 12:30PM, Join us for NYE at the Northwest Branch! Is Midnight past your bedtime?
