Fourth Wing Summary:

Violet enrolls in Basgiath War College to become a dragon rider at the request of her mother. Violet joining this deadly school is frowned upon by many due to her small stature and frail body. But her mother, general of the Navarre army, is insistent. But the school’s deadly training techniques aren’t the only threat to Violet. Other cadets want her dead because of her mother’s role in the deaths of their rebel parents, but none more than the Fourth Wing’s wingleader, Xaden Riorson. Xaden is determined to make life at Basgaith difficult for Violet. With some protection from her life long friend, Dain, Violet makes her own way in the War College. But when few dragons present themselves for bonding with humans, all bets are off and even more cadets want Violet out of the picture. The cadets learn that the wards protecting their kingdom are failing almost daily and Violet stumbles upon information that leads her to believe that leadership is hiding a terrible secret from everyone. At Basgiath, everyone has an agenda and the only way out is to make it to graduation without dying… can Violet survive?
